The Palantíri: Fëanor's Lost Technology

The palantíri were indestructible seeing-stones created by Fëanor in Valinor, brought to Middle-earth through Númenor. Unlike the Silmarils which inspired obsessive desire, the palantíri revealed the hearts of those who used them—exposing pride, despair, and ambition while remaining neutral tools themselves.
